DrJ 0 Posted August 9, 2005 TyCobb gets - Colorado's #2 in 2006, Michael Turner DrJ gets - Thomas Jones
DrJ 0 Posted August 9, 2005 Don't like parting with picks for short term solutions, but Jones provides some depth at RB which you can never have enough of in this league. It isn't a terrible price to insure my invesment in Benson, either. Very confident that I'll get a #3 calibre RB out of the Chicago situation this year with the potential for a lot more. Whether it'll be my #3 or #4 RB though remains to be see.

DrJ 0 Posted August 18, 2005 And Benson is now the lone holdout. I'm liking this deal more and more for this season. He'll probably be able to cover KJ's week 3 bye at very least at this point.

DrJ 0 Posted August 20, 2005 It isn't a terrible price to insure my invesment in Benson, either. And with each passing day, this looks like a better and better investment. Jones now officially the week 1 starter.
Miller_Time_21 0 Posted August 20, 2005 and with each passing day it appears you blew your #3 pick NTAC thanks you for JJ though!!
DrJ 0 Posted August 20, 2005 and with each passing day it appears you blew your #3 pick NTAC thanks you for JJ though!! Pfft, Benson is still 10 times the RB that Arrington is - he could hold out for an entire season and go back into next year's draft and he'd still get selected above where Arrington did. You of all people should know owner talk spin!! Rookie Indeed, unfortunately for you there's no way to put a positive spin on JJ Arrington's 5 rushing yards on the season. DrJ 0 Posted October 11, 2005 Very pleased with this deal at this point. Benson may still end up being a stud, but he's obviously been a huge disappointment for me as it is. Thankfully Jones looks like a stud anyhow, and has managed to salvage my return on investment there. What could have been is turning out to be and I'm ending up very pleased with my investment in that backfield.
DrJ 0 Posted November 13, 2005 Just when Benson starts to look good, this appears to become a franchise changing deal in one play. Crazy, sure glad I pulled this deal.
