The Moz 69 Posted May 21, 2003 why take a 1/2 hour makiing a focking trade and then after wards think about who you want  you would think he traded to take a specific guy [ 05-21-2003: Message edited by: The Moz ]

GameDay Guru 1 Posted May 21, 2003 Hey Steve, you see any RB's that are going to start all 16 games for their teams left in this draft? The guys I see are going to split time and or run out of steam come week 12. Mock it all you want but I'm drafting a team that I see doing very well in two or three years. I am fine with what I did as of right now. I am sure the guy(s) I have am eyeing in this round will still be there, so getting a better pick later and getting the same guy here IMO is a good plan. I see 6 that have a more than 50-50 shot to start all 16 games for their team. And if you draft their backup as well you are all set. I am truly not trying to mock you at all I swear. I was just going to take a look at the numbers and maybe show you something you did not know. You were discussing the flex position and in the flex you can start a RB/WR/TE. I would go so far as to say the WR's in the bottom half of the top 50 score more ponts than even the top 3 TE's. If you want to start a TE in the flex position that is your decision just know that I truly was not meaning to mock or riducule you.

GameDay Guru 1 Posted May 21, 2003 I know you aren't trying to critcise, I'm just trying to justify my thinking (which shouldn't matter since it didn't happen.) I think Todd Heap will be a huge star, maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

I needed a WR and this guy has huge potential and is very young and plays in a constant throwing offense. This guy has the potential to be top 10 this year. The Moz 69 Posted May 21, 2003 I got who i was wanting ! Charles Rogers -- maybe a little early with my lack of WR's and the fact he is a rookie -- but the guy is the most talented WR to come out since Moss -- he is a future Top 3 WR withing the next 2 - 3 years. harrington loves to throw it down field without fear ! Rogers will be rookie of the year ! I am very stoked with this pick especially in a dynasty league
joeyjoejoe 0 Posted May 21, 2003 Thats who I thought...couldnt find a link to him quick enough... I also think it's too early for him but hey....what do I know....my team needs a walker to get around

I like the Rogers pick a lot but I had him targetted 2 rounds from now. Good Player (In the Future), Way Early!
Wuerffel for MVP 0 Posted May 21, 2003 Nice pick Moz. So what does everyone think of my Staley pick? He's by far the best RB available IMO and he gets tons of receptions.

Splits way too much time, he won't get huge but will be consistant points but should be a good fill in...the big plus is the recieving bonus he will get. Wuerffel for MVP 0 Posted May 21, 2003 Well I'll take y'alls talk with a grain of salt I look at it like this. He's the starter there (buckhalter is no Jamal Lewis, he won't be back to form yet) and he had 1500 total yards and 8 TDS last year and he didn't even play 3rd downs. I'll take that for a 3rd RB any day.
