DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 look you missed your chance to see the matrix. You sit your happy arse down and lets pick. lol-----have a good time
GameDay Guru 1 Posted May 19, 2003 8 picks -- 8 RB's ---- get em while there hot boys ! anyone surprised ? I'm a bit suprised, someone always tends to go for an elite wr in the first round, but I'm not shocked, since all of the owners in this league seem to know what they are doing, and rb's are the cornerstones of any good team in my opinion. Regardless, the second round should be very interesting.

DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 How did I get stuck with this 12th pick crap anyways. I demand a recount!!!!
christgs80 0 Posted May 19, 2003 A little surprised with Henry going at #9. I'd say that was a nice pick a month ago, but now with McGahee in the mix, Henry might only be an elite RB for one year. A gutsy pick. 9 picks today eh? Not too good.....I actually thought I had a shot at making my 2nd and 3rd round picks today. Tomorrow is a very busy day for me. I'll be home from 10-1, and then after around 6 or so. Hopefully I can make my picks before I leave in the afternoon.
christgs80 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Just a tidbit of info... Uncle P hasn't posted on FFToday since March 30th. Steve....did you hear from him at all? Just curious at all.

McGahee won't be ready to push Henry this year. I figure Henry is going to be very motivated to prove himself with McGahee in the wings. All of the others I considered here have questions in my mind. So Henry was the pick.
Shox 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Wow Vick already. This guy will be a major stud in a couple of years, but this seams real early to me.
DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 and there michael jordan goes. Glad I dont have to decide to take him or not. I should have some real interesting decisions though.
GameDay Guru 1 Posted May 19, 2003 I too would have thought Vick would be picked later, but let's face it he'll be a gem for years to come.
The Brain 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Sorry I just hopped on quick before turning in, if DD is on I will stick around another half-hour to pick again.
Shox 0 Posted May 19, 2003 DD just posted 5 minutes ago.
The Moz 69 Posted May 19, 2003 First shocker of the draft - Bennett  I Thought of him as late 2nd round pick with Moe Williams coming back. I just don't see him scoring unless its a 25 yd or longer TD run. Bold pick though -- especially this early
The Moz 69 Posted May 19, 2003 DD -- good picks ------------- I wouldn't of gone for barber this early but nice 1 - 2 punch !
DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Very tough decision. Went the safe route. Really struggled with the second round pick. Barber should be solid though.

I would have picked the 2 best WR's at that slot and hoped to be able to salvage 2 backs in the 3rd and 4th rounds - but thats me. You did decent though
The Brain 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Nothing like making my bye weeks easy to manage for the next few years...going with the Minnisota connection. I'll check in again before I turn in and tommorrow before I go to work.
DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Wow!!! The Brain goes with the Minn. duo. Should be interesting.
GameDay Guru 1 Posted May 19, 2003 I like the Barber pick, **** I thought I could catch him later, nice move DD.
DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 I figure with a point per reception, Barber is top ten back at worst. With the 12th pick that is why I argued for that scoring change so much(with Tiki in mind the whole time) just didnt expect the trio to fall in my lap like that. Captain Lou 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Way too risky to have gone doulble receiver in this draft. Running backs are flying off the boards.
The Moz 69 Posted May 19, 2003 The 3 great QWR's are now all taken !
DIVINE DESTRUCTION 0 Posted May 19, 2003 This is how your suppose to draft. 5 minutes---make your pick and lets go.
Shox 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Uncle P you're killing me. How can you take TO when you don't have a RB. I had TO already penciled in...go ahead and redo your last pick please.
