Everyone please chime in on all of these unless you just dont want your voice heard! I want this to be a fun league so if anyone has some ideas post them or forever hold your peace Heres my idea Passing 1 pt per 25 yards 5 pts per td -1 fum lost -1 int 2 pts per 2 point conversion completed Rushing 1 pt per 10 yards gained 6 pts per td -1 fum lost 2 pts per 2 point conversion Receiving 1 pt per 10 yards gained 6 pts per td 1 pt per rec -1 fum lost 2 pts per 2 point conversion Kicking 3 pts per FG made -1 FG missed 4 pts per FG 50+ yards 1 pt per PAT made -1 PAT missed Defense 3 pts per INT 3 pts per Fum rec. 6 pts per def. Jwood 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Looks good to me. My only suggestion is to the QB. Very heavy QB scoring. Since you are giving 6 points for a passing TD, I think interceptions should be worth -2 points. And maybe 1 point for every 25 yards. Under the proposed method, QBs are going to be scoring a ton of points. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bezzerck 0 Posted May 12, 2004 I would also prefer a league with IDP's. I did it last year and felt that it opened the league up a lot. The scoring system as is looks pretty good. Kilroy 0 Posted May 12, 2004 I agree with Jwood, QB's are getting too many points under that scoring set up. I'd like to see QB scoring set up as: 25 yards passing = 1 pt TD Pass = 4 or 5 pt's INT = -1 or -2 pt's depending on wether a TD Pass is 4 or 5 pts. I'd also suggest making reception's = 1/2 pt, but thats not a big deal, it's just the way I'm used to playing. I think I agree with everything else. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Do_you_know_Frankie_Rayder? 0 Posted May 12, 2004 I'm not really big on Defense positions.... of course i'm fine w/ picking a team... but I guess I'm used to having just offensive players to worry about and don't want to have actual defense guys. Maybe it would be cool to bring defensive guys in in a year or 2 or 3.... Shox 0 Posted May 12, 2004 One other thing. Do we really want to give 4 points to the D for a blocked extra point. Seems unreasonable to me.
