iLuvClowns 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Ok here is the deal. Right now I stand to lose by the score of 112.48 to 112.38. Yeah, a tenth of a frickin point. My league is set up on yahoo. Standard scoring. The guy I'm playin against had McNabb, who finished with -1 yard rushing. Therefore, IMO, he should lose 1/10 of a point. Which would leave us tied in pts. However, Yahoo hasn't taken away any points for this. What do you think?

Sapronos04 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Thats the way it goes. I dont like any neg. Scoring ever. But fumbles and Int's are minus in a few of my leagues. I wouldnt use it for - yardage

I wouldnt use it for - yardage  Yeah but if you have 20 yds rushing and you get stopped for a 2 yard loss you have 18 yds rushing. therefore you have 1.8 pt instead of 2 pt
mdubz 0 Posted October 24, 2005 i def think there should be negative yardage. why shouldnt a guy that loses 7 yards on a rush be counted against him? you reward for the positive so there must be a penalty for the negatives. thats like having positive points for TDs but no negative for interceptions, it doesnt make sense

Period. You can talk to the rest of the league and maybe make that scoring change for next season if everybody is willing. Otherwise, tell the guy "good game" and get ready for next week. OD99 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Bottom line: Are your rules set up to take away points for negative yards? If not, you are SOL.

JScott 20 Posted October 24, 2005 Wait until tomorrow or Wednesday. Yahoo's been known over the years to adjust non-standarding scoring later in the week.
