Owens commands big offer

Recommended Posts

It's late guys and I need a quick answer.

I need a WR badly.

Should I trade Burress and L. Johnson for T.O./

Depends how big of a loss you take at RB losing LJ. TO is safer than Burress, but Holmes is an injury away from LJ being a STUD

I have LT2, Portis, Lewis & A. Smith after I trade LJ.

Hard to say for sure without know the rules or rest of your roster. With that said, I don't think I would. TO isn't that big of an upgrade from Plex.

TO - 609 yds, 5 TDs

Plex - 535 yds, 5 TDs

They both scored the same amount of TDs, with a slight edge in yardage to TO. Is Larry Johnson worth that little of an upgrade? He looked real good against the Dolphins and Priest has been generous with his carries... :wall:

I agree. McNabb is injury prone and Lewis SUCKS. I traded him with Horn for Holmes. WR are a dime a dozen and there is bound to be a guy on waivers that can 'fill in' for you. TO is a stud, but they could also have a playoff spot locked up when you hit the playoffs. Can you give a lesser WR?

definitely, LJ might only get 10 carries in most games. Yeah if Priest gets hurt he is a top five back, but TO is a sure thing and is the #1 WR in fantasy. Don't overthink this one.

1. You can't be needing a WR too badly if you're trading Burress.

2. I'd rather keep LJ and try to trade your #2 RB for Owens.

3. That said, it's not a horrible trade for you as long as you weren't starting LJ on a regular basis.
