Guest Moose Knuckle Ball Four Posted October 26, 2005 MADIEU HAS SURGERY: Bengals free safety Madieu Williams has undergone what is believed to be season-ending shoulder surgery, but head coach Marvin Lewis wouldn’t say Wednesday when he’ll come off the roster and go on injured reserve. His roster spot could be taken by linebacker Caleb Miller who Lewis said is coming off a good practice week that was his first work in almost a year. POLLACK ON THE MEND: Linebacker David Pollack (knee) didn’t practice Wednesday, says the sprain has improved daily, is questionable, and says it will be a game-time decision. INJURY NEWS: Also not dressing Wednesday for the Bengals when they went out in shoulder pads and sweat pants was backup center Eric Ghiaciuc (ankle-questionable), cornerback Keiwan Ratliff (hip-probable), and Rudi Johnson (probable-knee). Johnson has been taking off Wednesdays and practicing the next two days.”
