Mushin Muhammad - Why am I still high on him?

I have started Mushin as my 3rd WR every week except for his bye and one other week I put Roy Williams over him before he got hurt.

 

Im in a PPR league and Im seeing basically 5-50 every week (10points)

 

He's basically avg 8-15 pts a game.

 

Im still waiting for him to score some td's. I know with Orton at the helm nothing good can happen. But I just keep thinking if I take him out he'll score.

 

My Wr's are

 

S. Moss, Branch, Mushin, (Stallworth, and Roy Williams, Brandon Jones,) So I really don't have a choice.

 

This week Mushin faces a Detroit team without Dre Bly (out 3-4 weeks I guess).

 

I know Bly would be on Muhammad so now who has him?

 

Who are the Lions safteys... Is it too much to ask for a 6-70-1td game?

This will be a defensive game. Whoever plays better D wins. Detroit at home, except the bears have the best D in the league. Don't start your Lions named Jones this week...the bears havent let in a rush TD all year. Special teams will be big as well. I think the short fields favor the bears and Thomas Jones.

 

as far as Mush goes...i think that due to the nature of the game, we might see a little more passes thrown Mush's way because of the absence of Bly. I think that it is plausible to project Muhammad for a score this week.

 

just my opinion, as a bears fan, and a Mush owner...and believe me, I've had to sit him alot...

i just traded for him to fill in for CJ on his bye

i only have to start 1 WR and have 4 RBs starting most weeks

 

hopefully he can pull that one game out for me.....

maybe if Grossman comes back he will light it up a little and break the roster

One more thing to remember....Grossman will be back for the FF playoffs...that should help Muhsin's value

I doubt Grossman will start as long as the Bears are in the playoff hunt.
