Drew Bennett could play against the Browns

Bennett returned to the practice field yesterday, but only to run routes with the scout team.

 

He's still wearing a cast to protect his dislocated left thumb and admitted he probably has no chance of playing until Nov. 20 against the Jaguars. The Titans have a bye on Nov. 13.

 

Bennett said there's "a small chance" he could play against the Browns next week "if I can find something that will protect my thumb better."

WR Drew Bennett (thumb) said yesterday that he will probably not return until at least November 20.

Bennett is still holding out some hope that he can play next week, but it is highly unlikely. The Titans have a bye the week of November 13.
