Guest Moose Knuckle Ball Four Posted October 28, 2005 FOXBORO – Tedy Bruschi's second practice seemed to go as well as his first, leaving the Patriots linebacker on track to make his return Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills. ``He's looked OK,'' coach Bill Belichick said. ``He's done what we've asked him to do. I don't think he's had any problem with it.'' Bruschi participated in his third practice of the week yesterday. He covered kickoffs during the portion the media were allowed to watch and stretched in the center of the field alongside Mike Vrabel. He's attempting to return from the minor stroke he suffered in February that initially appeared career-threatening. But he has since received medical clearance to play. As for when the team will make a decision, Belichick was circumspect. But the wheels appeared to start turning following the decision to place cornerback Tyrone Poole on the injured reserve list, ending his season and opening a roster spot. Bruschi could fill it. The team has until 4 p.m. tomorrow to activate him in time for Sunday's game. ``We'll make that decision when we're sure we're not going to have to double back on it,'' Belichick said. ``We'll make it when we're sure it's going to be the right decision for that point in time.'' Bruschi politely declined comment, but his teammates said they continue to be impressed with his progress. ``I'm not a talent evaluator, but it's good to have him back,'' Vrabel said. ``You get back one of your leaders, one of your captains, it means a lot.'' Defensive end Jarvis Green said it's Belichick's call if Bruschi returns, but that he thinks the veteran linebacker will be back Sunday night. ``If it were up to me? I'd put him out there,'' Green said. ``Why not?''
NJJoe20 0 Posted October 28, 2005 Judging by his appearance alone, Teddy is not ready for the NFL and will get flattened if he is forced into action. Hopefully the Patriots bring him along slowly...
