The playoff race sure is tightning up. Every game seems to be important this week as everybody can still get in the playoffs if they get some key wins. Knights of Sirrod is the only team that has been elimated and Suck My Ditka could vault into the 6th spot with a little help. Again congrats to Michigan and Biggums on clinching a spot but there are four others still up for grabs.

 

Game of the week in my mind is My Panama Porn Pirates against the Eternal Cowboys. This is huge for the playoff picture.

This is a major issue in my book. Throwing this game creates major problems with both teams ahead of him and behind him. He was the in the playoffs going into this week. Something needs to be done about this in my mind.

I'm going to speak frankly here. What I do with my team is my business. I don't feel I have any chance to win the championship. If you disagree, well that's fine, but unless I missed something and one of you paid my entrance fee - then shut the f@ck up about how I run my team. It was never stated in the league rules (according to the league rules at fftoday.com, trust me I checked) that there were rules to posting a lineup or not. I am doing what I feel is in the best interest of my team. Hagy, if you FORCE me to start a lineup I will simply see it as sour grapes due to the fact that your Amish first rounder next year just got one pick worse.

 

It's simple folks - what I did was never outlawed. So what are your grounds for saying what I did was wrong. You paid your hard earned cash for the rights to run your team, let me do the same.

 

Don't make me post on fftoday asking if I'm in the right here.

To be honest I'm really not thinking about the draft pick at all. Amish could still make the playoffs meaning the what you did has no affect on it at all. I just think its unfair to the league to fold a season when you are in a playoff race. I never thought anyone would bench an entire lineup thats why it wasnt in the rules. If you want to post on FFtoday, go ahead I would love to hear what other people would say.

IF you are planning on benching your team for the entire season, you are giving wins to teams who are in contention and to teams who should be earning them. This isn't how Fantasy Football is supposed to be played. Maybe you disagree but I think a league vote is in order to either force you to play a lineup.

Also, why would you throw away a chance at the playoffs? I mean on any given week a team can get lucky and win. Why would you want to give up that chance?

As a side note, I'm probably going to win this week with the lowest winning point total. Unless Knights kicker scores 15 points. It sort of makes up for those times I lost with the second most points scored.

Actually thats not correct.

 

The lineup he had in at 11:48 am was:

This lineup is a total of 78 points with Farve and Driver left. The reason I know that is the lineup is because when you bench players on Yahoo they are moved to the top of your bench players list. The list above is the exact order that his guys are listed on his lineup. That would be the lineup put in if thats the way we handle it. It seems to me that everyone in our league is in support of these players being added.

I didn't know what his lineup was, I was just making a point that he could have had that lineup. I agree with you though, that makes sense, when you bench a player he moves to the top of the bench order.

As of now we have 6 owners who would like it if lineups were made mandatory. I just think it is too unfair to other teams for people to totally bench a lineup. I haven't heard back from Knights,Lobos or Milty. I will give these owners another day to speak up, but as of now I'm probably going to change his lineup. If this happens again with another team blantantly losing to secure a better pick their picks will be moved to the end of the round, now matter how many they have. Its easy guys, play to win, the picks are meant to improve teams that need it.......not to take a good team and lose on purpose. Thats not why we play fantasy football. We play to win games no matter the situation.
