The whole appeal of FFT was good football / general converation with a no holds barred approach - as anyhting was pretty much allowed to fly. Without that FFT becomes FBG's without the traffic. Here's hoping Mike comes around and lets the place go to hell again

I don't know all of the details but I think the last straw was Moose's insistence on posting entire (copyrighted) football news from other sources, and then adding to the problem by not providing the source. This is a business at the end of the day, and this site in its heyday might have gotten just enough traffic to get on the radar of lawyers from large source providers.
