Irma: No, it's not done.

Jake: Don't overcook it. You overcook it, it's no good. It defeats its own purpose.

[irma gives Jake a look.]

Jake: What are you doin'? I just said don't overcook it. You're overcookin' it, bring it over.

Irma: You want your steak?

Jake: Bring it over. Bring it over! It's like a piece of charcoal! Bring it over here!

Irma: You want your steak!?

Jake: YEAH, RIGHT NOW!!

[irma stabs the steak and slams it on his plate.]

Irma: Okay. There's your stupid steak. Can't wait for it to be done?

Jake: No, I can't wait.

Irma: Good! Okay? Happy? Happy!?

Jake: That's all I want. That's all I want!

Irma: That's...there! No, more! There!

[Jake violently upends the table.]

Jake: Botherin' me about a steak, huh?

Irma: That's GREAT!!

Jake: You're botherin' me about the steak!?

Honestly, I don't know how any of you can stand to slurp up bovine blood. Human blood is a different matter, and a topic for another day.

I actually heard a guy ask for Heinz 57 sauce at Chop House ! Waiter tried to politley pretend not to hear him. :doublethumbsup:

actually medium/rare is perfect . If you eat a well done steak you may as well go to sizzler as it's going to taste about the same. Granted I only get medium rare at upper end steak houses ( chop house, gibsons, saloon, mortons, ruths chriss , magnums , etc. ) I agree that if it's not the best qaulity meat well done is the way to go. if it's great meat why kill the flavor completed :doublethumbsup:

cooking a steak is one thing making it well done and taking away all it's flavor is :blink: ! A well done steak is no different at Sizzler or Pondarosa then it is at Chop House / Ruths Chris / or Mortons.

I'll eat a steak regardless of how it is prepared.

 

Also Maggi Seasoning Sauce is my favorite thing to put on a steak. God, that stuff is good.

It's gotta be well for me to like it.

 

I can't stand people who insult the way I like my steak simply because it doesn't fit their ideal. I find medium to be disgusting but I realize to them it tastes delicious. Why can they not recognize that to me well done is full of flavor? There are different ways to cook a steak to well done-you can toss it on the grill for a few minutes and nuke it or you can take an agonizing amount of time slowly roasting it. The slow cook is well worth it-amazing flavor in every bite.
