Is Tomlinson one of the them?

I'll take him...

Portis may be the best back left at pick 4. The team should be improved so why not???

#7 E. James

Acreed, sorry I couldn't resist.

#8 This is a good time to look at Manning if you aren't a stud RB theorist.

Others to look at... Lamont Jordon, McGahee, Caddy, Stephen Jackson

14) Terrell Owens

Your "new love" isn't as hot as last years Ms. Portis 26...

She seems to have a little too much "tonya harding" thighs for me..

Good luck with her, though

I like Ronnie Brown here. With Williams potentially out and with an upgrade at QB, Brown could be great.

If we're talking rookies and assuming Bush to Houston, we're going to have to go Bush pretty soon.

Otherwise, Jamal Lewis.......

1st 10

...........

1) Alexander - safest bet and a lock for 1800 yds and 20 Tds until proven otherwise.

2) Larry Johnson - Last 9 games - 1627 total yds, 17 TDs. WOW!

3) LT - Qb situation drops him down a peg, but his best year was when Brees sucked. No worries from me.

4) Portis - big dropoff here. Worst draft spot this year.

5) Tiki - solid

6) Edge - Ari should be among the top scoring teams this year. Nice situation for edge. Plays Rams/49ers twice doesnt hurt.

7) Manning - Not a fan of the rd 1 qb, but this is about right. Without Edge, should easily eclipse 4000/30 TDs again

8) McGahee - I would not burn a 1st rounder on the RB for one of the worst Os in the league this year.

9) SJax - new coach will only help his numbers. Could be the best value pick yet.

10) Rudi - consistent point producer. safe pick with limited up or downside.

2nd 10

............

11) Lamont Jordan - expect similar numbers to last year. Who's the qb? If Vince Young, then Jordan's numbers fall.

12) Steve Smith - Great player, but I would take CJ as the #1 WR this year. Teams will adjust to SS.

13) Caddy Williams - Expect big things from caddy. Should be higher.

14) Terrell Owens - Big gamble, but I think he actually learned a lesson last year about going too far. Yera 2 is when he implodes / fades.

15) Torry Holt - solid and consistent

16) Randy Moss - depends on the qb. I'll let someone else draft Randy.

17) Brian Westbrook - Anderson confuses the situation. Too high for west here.

18) Chad Johnson - Top wr imo. Too low

19) Larry Fitzgerald - great value - should be as good as any of the wrs taken above.

20) Duece McAllister - if he is recovered, this could be a huge steal with more consistency at qb this year.

3rd 10

..............

21) Ronnie Brown - another great value with a better qb and a strong D. RW is the only wildcard.

22) Julius Jones - Again, another great RB value with the addition of Owens loosening up the run game.

23) Anquan Boldin - solid, but the likely victim in an offence with too many options. Slight decline expected.

24) Reuben Droughns - Too many ?s in Cle with Edwards, KW and Frye. Only 2 Tds last year. bad pick.

25) Jamal Lewis - Where does he land? Not a fan of this pick either.

26) Antonio Gates - Top TE is good value here traditionally. Virtual rookie qb may hurt his production though. I would pass on the upper tier TEs this year.

27) Kevin Jones - about right for his value, but not someone that I want to start this year.

Comments above ...

Huge changes from last year's rankings. A couple of notable slips that are still out there though
