GettnHuge 1 Posted April 10, 2006 WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my dynasty pitching staffs are saved! I easily won week 1 in era-whip-k/bb with more starters but lost in wins. marlins
yostevo 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Tigers should dangle Mike Maroth and some prospects for that sh!za. That would be some pitching staff at this point.
SmartassBoiler 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Well he's the only good pitcher left from the WS team, why the fock would they want him? Wayne Huizenga is a joke.
George Carlin 1 Posted April 10, 2006 Well he's the only good pitcher left from the WS team, why the fock would they want him? Wayne Huizenga is a joke. 14 million dollar payroll. They're going to move the team from Florida. The real joke here is MLB for allowing this. Christ, I wouldn't allow this in my fantasy football league and a real league is allowing it? GobbleDog 816 Posted April 10, 2006 I knew I shouldn't have bet on the Marlins to win the World Series. But 300:1 was too good to resist.
windycityguy 1 Posted April 10, 2006 Think they would take Prior and Wood? Really though Jim Hendry has said they would pursue SPs but didn't think any big names would be available.

BMoney 0 Posted April 10, 2006 14 million dollar payroll. They're going to move the team from Florida. The real joke here is MLB for allowing this. Christ, I wouldn't allow this in my fantasy football league and a real league is allowing it? if the marlins hadnt won 2 titles in 10 years...maybe..but heck, what would you rather have?.... the red sox never winning and getting one after 86 years?... the braves winning every divisional title but never a world series title... or the marlins winning 2..they do dismantle...but how badly? last time that they dismantled..they unloaded guys like sheffeld, piazza etc...did they miss much there? they have won a title since they cleaned house and the 2 i mentioned are on their last legs.... the rumor ive heard is carlos lee for dontrelle... edited to add..or the brewers never winning a thing and having their owner try to contract the twins..a move that embarrassed most brewers fans...i wont hate the constant player change..but they do win..there isnt that much loyalty these days anyway...i would enjoy 2 titles...the marlins knew better than to expect people to show up when it rains every day... Guest Mr.T Posted April 10, 2006 What are they looking to trade him for? Obviously young guys but anything in paticular? Also what teams are likely candidates? And why hasn't anybody just called this what it is-wild speculation?

And why hasn't anybody just called this what it is-wild speculation? I heard about this at the Brewers fan fest event april 2...fans were going up to the owner giving him their blessings to deal an extra OF for dontrelle...i just and but i was surprised at how many seperate goups were talking about this.... now that the sporting news is saying it..it may be a rumor thats strong..or has some truth to it... but i havent heard a word about when it may happen..
