56 0 Posted April 30, 2006 I hope that they all wind up as busts, but the fact is the Eagles have had an outstanding draft. Given all the progress the rest of the division has made this season, they needed to have a strong draft, and they delivered.
TerrySilver 0 Posted April 30, 2006 brilliant trades. they were going to cut hollis anyway, since he's been disgruntled over his contract for a while now (and imo, he's not that good to begin with. seems like everytime a DT goes down and the eagles need him most, he then gets hurt too), instead they trade him out and get his replacement at the same time. same goes to hicks, who imo, is a pretty good piece. i am actually pretty high on him, pretty young player (28) but i figure the eagles just felt that this is as good as he's gonna get, and would rather trade him now, since they already drafted his replacement, who has a bigger upside. i like bloom as a kr/pr/ 4th wr. but not sure if he's fully commited to football now or if he's still doing his skiing thing. either way, he's a competitive gamer and an upgrade over whoever the eagles have going at that spot. i'm excited. Pokey55 0 Posted April 30, 2006 I hate to admit it, but I really like some of their pickups here. Justice and Bunkley especially. I think the Eagles have had one of the better drafts.

If you believe his comments immediately after his last run in Turino, he is 100% committed to football now.
