joneo 529 Posted April 30, 2006 Kind of stupid but here's the story. A personal duress alarm is sounding at an assisted elderly residence. The door is locked and we can't get in. We go outside to look in the window and see the old woman laying on the floor but moving. We decide to try and enter the window when we notice someone got in through the door with a key. It has been raining for two straight days, and super cop decides to run on the grass. I dropped a set of keys and tried to stop to pick them up. Hydroplaned and fell backwards. Landed on my right wrist (shooting hand) and hurt my left knee. X-ray of the wrist was fine. The knee probably has cartilage damage. CRAP. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

What the heck kind of "assistance" is there if she's lying on the floor pressing her "I've fallen and I can't get up button" and the cops have to show up to assist? (Well try to assist.
