RLLD 4,230 Posted May 1, 2006 Rd 1 Pick 12~ Haloti Ngata: A huge defensive lineman who could dominate the middle so long as he can maintain focus and motivation. Should allow Ray Ray to get hurt less, and be more effective in the running game GRADE-B+ Rd 2 Pick 24~ Chris Chester: A smallish offensive lineman who is more likely to provide backup services for a few years. If he can fill out that frame he could be a legitimate starter in perhaps 3-years. GRADE-C Rd 3 Pick 23~ David Pittman: The Ravens are looking for a way to lessen the loss of McAlister when they try to trade him or otherwise get rid of his azz. He is awfully small at about 170lbs, but may be able to add some size and not get tossed in the coming years. He is fast. GRADE-C Rd 4 Pick 14~ Demetrious Williams: A gem to find at this point in the draft, was mirated due to some issues in releasing from DB's, but this cat could be pretty good. GRADE-B+ Rd4 Pick 35~ PJ Daniels: A perfect style back for the Ravens grinding style offense. If he can stay healthy he could give JL some extended rest and step in well when JL gets hurt or banned...whichever comes first.... GRADE-B Rd 5 Pick 13~ Dawan Landry: Just getting some depth with the recent departure of Demps. GRADE-C The rest of the picks were all geared toward adding depth and not really addressing a need or taking advantage of a special talent still available.
