Who started the 40- thing?

It is most widely credited to TRF.

OK. I am done hijacking this thread. There are plenty of other threads to crap on. Carry on.

What is your question?

Why are you choosing not to respond to my repeated posts regarding the good economy?

That's my question. It's the 3rd time I've asked it.

Look, it's not hard. I made a claim that the economy was rebounding nicely, and you questioned that. I posted numerous articles indicating that the economy is rebounding nicely, but you've failed to comment. I was just curious your thoughts about it. That's all.

The link you provided is from a 2-month-old thread. Are you obsessive? :pointstosky:

Anyways, the economy sucks. I don't really understand all the financial gibberish, so I don't really follow it. But this is from today's NY Times (FWIW).

And, personally, my health insurance premium went up 13%

Subway pass is going up 25% in January

Gas is over $3.00/gallon

I got a 4% raise :first:

Also, 3 people in my building just got laid off

I've been asking for a response for two months. Dodge much?

The New York Times sees a gloomy economic picture. There's a real shocker.
