OD99 0 Posted May 31, 2006 I love the enthusiasm! I am Ottawa born and bred and was absolutely CRUSHED when we lost to the Sabers but I do like a lot of their players... I did jump for joy when Connolly got rocked but I am very sad to see that he is this badly injured...head injuries are tough. Good luck! Also Go OILERS!! ilovemustachios 0 Posted June 1, 2006 Jay McKee didn't fly with the team because they were quaranteening him so he doesn't give the rest of the team the flu, they will pump him full of fluids and he will block 20 shots tonight. Staal is a young gun that is point machine for Carolina. He gets alot of assists but has a knack for scoring goals as well. He's scored 7 goals and had 13 assists (20pts) which leads all players in the post season. He scored 45 goals in the regular season, good for 8th in the NHL. mulletia 0 Posted June 2, 2006 tough series hard to win missing 4 defensemen and your best playmaking center there is a lot to build on for next year and the silver lining in all of this is that paetsch is a player good series but you can't beat a team liek carolina missing 2/3 of your defense carolina better win this year, weight recchi and hedican aren't getting any younger, and they don't seem to have a great deal of homegrown talent eh such is life Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
