Dog Face Gremlins211 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Keyshawn Johnson was back at work Friday. Back to the task of reacquainting himself with coordinator Dan Henning's offense.  Johnson, who missed the first two days of voluntary workouts for the Carolina Panthers to attend to a personal matter, knows Henning's offense from their days together with the New York Jets.  Johnson, a wide receiver, went on to play in two different offensive systems in Tampa Bay, and one similar one in Dallas, similar because Henning was with Cowboys coach Bill Parcells in New York. But Henning's current offense has been tweaked a little, it has new terminology, and Johnson is adjusting.  "That's the important thing for me, to be comfortable in that sense, to know that I'm in an offense that I'm familiar with," Johnson said.  "I know how it goes. I know the way that the pecking order is. I know where (quarterback Jake Delhomme's) reads are and where he should go with the ball, all that sort of stuff. I have to get familiar with that again."  Once the adjustment period is over, Johnson said, he knows what to expect from Henning's offense.  Johnson, released by the Cowboys and signed as a free agent by Carolina this offseason, said he also is adjusting to Charlotte off the field.  "I'm pretty happy here," Johnson said. "I'm excited. I can't wait until Week One."  Minter on Super prediction: Good!  Though general manager Marty Hurney and coach John Fox aren't thrilled with the notoriety of having Street & Smith's preseason NFL magazine picking the Panthers to win the Super Bowl, safety Mike Minter said the players don't mind."It's no added pressure," Minter said. "I think guys want to be the team people are talking about.  "When you have success and people know what type of football team you have, that's good."  Minter has been with the Panthers since 1997 and remembers many lean years, such as the 1-15 season of 2001, when the team didn't get outside respect.  "Be it (on the) football field or be it in just regular life, you fight for respect," he said.  "Once you get it, you've got to cherish that moment. You fought to get it, so why not enjoy it?"  Note  Panthers kicker John Kasay will give the sermons at Forest Hill Church this Saturday evening and Sunday morning.     http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/spo...rolina_panthers
