This has nothing to do with rejoicing, it's just a comment on how important he is to the Steelers. There was a lot of pub last year about how the Steelers won the Super Bowl as an 11-5 team and the last seed in the playoffs. I think there are a lot of people who don't realize how much of that 11-5 record had to do with Roethlisberger missing part of the middle of the season, Ben hasn't lost 5 games in his whole career! He was arguably one of the top 5 most valuable players in the league last year.

Hope the guy is alright....and everything

but why wasnt he wearing a helmet....I kno a helmet wouldnt have prevented all the injuries but come on...

I saw a piece on athletes and crotch rockets last year and Ben was on there....after Winslows thing they asked if under contract should athletes be able to ride motercycles....

Ben said he would ride his motercycle and not wear a helmet if he didnt want too....

yea comes back to bite ya...

I just hope the stupid fool is alright....

Thanks tj.

And to your pt about Roth being valuable to the Steelers, alot of folks like to pt out how bad he played in SB and how Steelers won despite his performance but...

Well what about these qb ratings for the playoff games that got Steelers to SB, all road games: 148, 124, 95 :shocking:

Yes, kid imploded a bit with the SB hype...but can you blame a 2nd year qb?

(98 rating over 2 regular seasons BTW)

Yep, he had an awesome first 3 games in the playoffs last year. Their AFC opponents went in looking to stop the run and he made them pay bigtime.
