famousb 11 Posted June 13, 2006 Given we know their situations a little better now... Maroney White Williams Bush Addai Calhoun Norwood Drew if some current rumors played out, i would go out on a limb and do this (for this year only): WHITE Addai Bush Williams Maroney . . . i leave the last three blank as i see none of them making significant contributions this year. added: obviously i put White at the top IF CBrown gets traded, it would put White and THenry competing for the job. In that situation i see one of two scenarios, either THenry taking 75% of the carries (which would f**k my predictions), or White getting increasing carries as the year goes on with THenry falling by the wayside, meaning LWhite will be great at the end of the year for FF playoffs... Addai, if he wins the #1 job in INDY, is obviously in a very potent offense. But I don't foresee Dungy flat-out handing the job to him game by #1 unless he has ALL of the blocking schemes down - their not going to risk the #1 QB in football for a rookie RB... So he too will get more carries as the year goes on if he proves to catch on. Bush, obviously is going to get touches from day 1 and should be able to produce. But splitting carries w/ Deuce is not going to allow him to produce #1 stats. Williams & Maroney will both be waiting in the wings for an injury - and my crystal balls () say that DFoster is more likely to miss time than CDillon, even given Dillon's age. Even if Maroney manages to work in some carries w/ a healthy Dillon, Dillon is still the goalline TD monster...
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted June 13, 2006 Bush - He'll get a ton of opportunities. Addai - Could win job outright. White - Looks like he may get a shot to be the man. Not sure how much faith I have in him. Williams - Foster gets hurt and he could be good. Maroney - Love his situation but think Dillon will hold on this year. Next year?!? Calhoun - Could make noise in Detroit if he's a playmaker. They'll be 2nd/3rd and long a lot so maybe he'll be Martz's secret weapon this year. Norwood - Dunn gets hurt? Drew - Jax too crowded. The Moz 69 Posted June 13, 2006 1. Reggie Bush - no question 2. J. Addai - should start right away and is on a great team 3. L. Maroney 4. L. White 5. D. Williams

I like this order but I would put Addai ahead of Bush because I think Addai will get double the amount of TD's Bush will get. Addai will be the featured back in Indy which is a way better offense plus Deuce will take the goal-line carries from Bush.
Franknbeans 46 Posted June 19, 2006 -- Norwood Pushing Duckett Out the Door -- Mon Jun 19, 2006 --from FFMastermind.com The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons rookie RB Jerious Norwood has made headway toward replacing RB T.J. Duckett as the No. 2 tailback. Athleticism aside, Norwood's adaptation to the offense — especially blitz pickup and receiving skills — could keep Duckett on the trading block.
