An old friend of mine is a sports editor for daily paper around the Newport News area. He connected me with a beat reporter for the Redskins. His name is Michael Wright. I'm arranging to find 1 or 2 times this summer to have a Q&A session with him where I ask your questions. We'll post the session on the board.

I'd ask him what changes are in store for the offense with Al Saunders on board. You could also ask him about the impact of playing in the tough NFC East. Will playing a tough schedule in a tough division help or hinder playoff teams coming out of the division.

what will losing LaVar Arrington do for the team - is this a Randy Moss type "less is more" company line, or are the Redskins taking a hit to their defense here while losing him to a divisional rival?

How has Cambell looked? If (when) 'Ole man Brunnel breaks down, is Cambell capable of leading this team?

 

What specific changes does he anticipate for this offense? Will Al Saunders transform Clinton Portis into Priest II? Washington's O finished 11th last season, are they capable of moving into the elite w/ Big Al on board?

What type of role does he anticipate Randle El having in this offense. Does he believe Randle El could rack up close to 1000 yards or will his numbers be consistant with what he had in Pittsburgh. One of the more successful plays that Washington ran last year was the slip screen to Moss, could you see this play being ran successfully to Randle El's side as well.
