adgsc1524 0 Posted July 12, 2006 Based on my failure to grab LJ in our draft last year, I was stuck with the following team: QB: Plummer Simms RB: Foster R. Williams Priest S. Davis M. Anderson WR: R. Moss A. Boldin J. Smith K. McCardell We keep 3 players (starting 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs). I consider Moss and Boldin to be automatic keepers, please tell me if you disagree. Right now, I am leaning towards Foster over Plummer because I believe that Brady, Bledsoe, T. Green, and possibly even Hasselbeck will not be kept. Assuming I have the first pick overall and cannot trade draft picks for someone else's keeper, would you grab Hasselbeck or Brady with the first pick and hope to grab a #2 RB in the 2nd. For reference, I believe J. Addai, J. Jones, C. Taylor, A. Green are the quality of RBs I am looking at being available. Sorry for the long post and thanks for your advice. I would keep Foster and target Julius or Chester with my first pick. Good luck see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=214943

I think if he can stay healthy he can have a HUGE year! They plan on doing more sweeps and stuff "outside" to give him more big play opportunities and try and keep him healthy. Then as insurance I would try and pick up De'Angelo Williams later in the draft. You have steller wr's....that's good. Keeping Plummer is not an option. Ron_Mexico 0 Posted July 12, 2006 It's not THAT bad. Keep FOSTER MOSS BOLDIN Grab a RB with your top pick, try to get a hold of DeAngelo Williams in the draft, and peace will be restored to your FF World.

You can get another decent QB later in the draft. Grab a starting RB with you first pick.
Great White Hope 0 Posted July 13, 2006 Moss and Boldin are keepers. Can you not keep a third player and get an earlier pick (equivalent to a third rounder)? If you can't do that, then keep Foster and hope for the best. Like Ron Mexico said, draft a RB after that and then you can go best available.

GL While Foster and healthy don't belong in the same sentence, he absolutely has the talent to do big things in the league. While Foster is absolutely the guy you should be keeping, I agree with Cuse that you need to handcuff him to DWilliams. I like Williams to take over at some point during the season when Foster can't stay healthy, and it could be early. Good luck with everything.
harken34 0 Posted July 13, 2006 You need to start making some trades. I'd go with Foster. Plummer isn't worth as much as a starting RB. Just try and get his handcuff Williams in the draft.
