Bearshomer54 0 Posted July 19, 2006 What would you do to get both LJ and LT2 on your team? I had both last year, got LT2 in the first round, and LJ in the third or fourth round last year, I forget. We protect one player each year, so I plan on protecting LJ, which means LT2 will be thrown back into the draft. The guy that has the first pick is protecting Peyton Manning. I have the last pick of the first round the 12th pick, and every other round is completely random. I'm wondering what draft picks I could offer to get him to trade me his first. I was thinking my first 3 picks maybe? Then I could have LJ and LT2 on my team which I think would mean another Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Then I could have LJ and LT2 on my team which I think would mean another In our 14 team league last year, one guy had SA and LT2 and Moss and Bledsoe and Tony G, amoung others via a series of trades. He finished out of the money. So even in a huge league where the talent is diluted, I wouldn't overplay it too much. I think most people would expect more for LT2 than he is worth, so it is unlikely you will be able to pull off a trade and not overpay. I would wait until partway through the season and if LT2 has a couple of subpar games, perhaps his owner will get frustrated early and be willing to trade for a reasonable price like happened in our league. Then I could have LJ and LT2 on my team which I think would mean another In my big money league I drafted LT2 4 years ago and we had 2 keepers until this season. Last season I drafted LJ in the 5th round and we are going to 3 keepers, no more than 2 at any one position, so I am going to keep LT2 and LJ and have to choose between CJ or Harrison for the third spot! bjlmonster 0 Posted July 19, 2006 3 Man keeper league. I traded for LT his 3 years ago and drafted LJ in 2nd last year. I will be keeping both along with Jordan! It is nice to have the backfield set! Phurfur 70 Posted July 19, 2006 In a 1 man keeper league having LT available is Huge. If all draft positions are random after the 1st round I think it will be hard to work out a trade. Then I could have LJ and LT2 on my team which I think would mean another Unfortunately In my 10 year running Dynasty League one owner does in fact have L.T. and L.J. and i'm dreading going into this season even though he's in the other confrence, but still that's a lot of grade A beef right there.... I'm sure in any Keeper League or Dynasty League that duo is probably together on teams more than you would suspect seeing that LJ could have been had semi late the last few years in those types of drafts....
