11th in a 12-Team League

Recommended Posts

I just drew 11th position in a 12-team league that uses a snake format. Who should I be targeting for the first few picks? Scoring system is:

1pt for 10 rushing yds

1pt for 10 rec. yds

1 pt per reception

1 pt per 25 passing yds

6 pts per rushing, receiving, and passing TD

Bonuses for long TD plays

Since I'm drafting so late in the first, should I go RB/RB, or can I still get a decent starting RB in the 3rd if I go WR with one of the first two picks?

Thanks for any advice.

I had the 11th pick in our I took Steve Smith (#11) and Chad Johnson (#14). I took J.Jones in round 3 then Kevin Jones and J.Lewis in round 4 and 5. I can live with those 3 running backs.

I believe there is good value in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and even 6th rounds when it comes to running backs. Besides these 3 backs, Corey Dillon, Ahman Green, Curtis Martin, Tatum Bell, Addai, Rhodes, Foster, DeAngelo Williams and even Chris Brown are out there.

Also, Thomas Jones has been falling in everyones draft, plus W.Dunn always slides in every draft. The safe play (with the 11th pick) is take 2 top tier wrs. Then go after your rbs.
