Jaguars RB Situation...Are any worth considering for a starter in FF?

Recommended Posts

I have heard nothing about the RB situation in Jacksonville in a long time. Does anyone have any useful info? I know Fred is just about done but will Jones end up having a good year or will the rookie Drew step up and show us what he can do?

Anyone have any news or thoughts?

In a 14-teamer, I'd be targeting Freddy in the 5th/6th and Greg Jones shortly thereafter as a 3rd/4th RB tandem. My feeling is that whoever is starting will be at least an adequate bye-week fantasy option and potential FF emergency starter, as needed. We all need some insurance.

I was actually able to trade Greg Jones for a decent #2 WR because the owner of Fred Taylor got in a bind...it's nice to be have a little leverage if you need it too

If Jones is the backup - why in the world would Jax spoend a 2nd rounder on Drew ?

I get so tired of threads like these. Taylor gets hurt for the first time in 5 years and suddenly he's back to being "fragile Fred" again. Taylor is the starter and the feature back. He could lose goalline carries to Jones. Jones would be the backup in case of injury.

When Fred goes down, I think it becomes a RBBC with Jones and Drew splitting a majority of carries.
