RicemanX 20 Posted July 31, 2006 Because of Thomas Jones' injury, does this mean Benson is going to move up to the 3rd or even the 2nd round? I guess this answer will be easily solved once we find out how long Thomas Jones will be out...but what if you have to declare keepers next week?!? I was almost certain I would just let Benson go, but now I'm not sure if I should keep Benson or Reggie Wayne. Benson = big upside, even bigger if Jones is out for more than 5 weeks. Wayne = almost guarenteed top 15 WR.

DrJ 0 Posted July 31, 2006 Hub Arkush (Bears Mouthpiece) stated that Thomas Jones is out for a minimum of 10-14 days. You have to question the validity of that report some though - Arkesh seems to be a bit out of it. He was declaring that Tony Hollings would be the #3 RB if Jones were to be traded - and he was cut last week.
Dont_Fook_Wit_me 0 Posted July 31, 2006 I mentioned this before, but i was at day 2 of the bears training camp (im goin again tonight too)....Like i said TJ came out on a cart, but had no probloms walking around the feild (without any form of limp, from what i could see) with his teamates, he was even playing catch.I belive TJ will be ready to go by the start of the 1st or 2nd preseason game, if not sooner...like i said tho, im going again today and ill post what i see on TJ and Benson.
