ElvisMcCoy 0 Posted August 3, 2006 As my league has never allowed trading of draft picks until this year I am unfamiliar with what a good value is in doing this. #1 overall has no preference between the top 3. He wants to trade his number 1 for my number 3 and wants ME to make him an offer. I would like to have #1 as I want SA. What do you offer the number 1 overall for this and how does it affect the rest of the draft? Do you just trade the pick for the entire draft or just for the first 2 rounds? Or alternating rounds? I don't want to give up much obviously as I'd be content with SA, LJ, or LT, so what would be the least offer I should make to swap spots? Besides straight up as he has already said no tho that. If that was the scenario, then I'd pull the trigger and move the 1st pick for the 3rd pick. Let's be real...there really isnt a drop off if you select any of the 1st 3 picks.
