FBH ** 0 Posted August 9, 2006 I would move Driver up one tier, and move Hines Ward down one, just my opinion. I don't think that Ward's numbers will be comparable with the other's in tier 1, but Drivers should be. (Not that Hines is not at that level as a player, but he isn't at that level as a FANTASY player.)

(Not that Hines is not at that level as a player, but he isn't at that level as a FANTASY player.) Good point. Like I said, I am sure you could move a few guys around a little. I think it really, really hard to accurately know who is going to be better between a Rod Smith over a Eddie Kennison, or a Roy Williams over a Darrell Jackson. I think once you are past the first tier, forget about it. Its a crap shoot!
Sopranos 0 Posted August 9, 2006 I am going out on a limb with my sleeper that will move to Tier 1: Javon Walker. He's on Denver for Christ Sake. Whoever they decide to run the ball will make passing a cinch.

Housh, CIN Lee Evans, BUF Rod Smith, DEN Eddie Kennison, KC Donte Stallworth, NO That's a very accurate assessment imo, with the exception of changing a few of the players around within the tiers depending on personal taste. Could be because I'm an Eagles fan (could be??), but I just don't trust TO. In fact, I don't trust many of the Tier 1 WRs, except Holt. I prefer caution within Tier 1 (and 2, but less so) over potential. However, once you get to Tier 3, throw caution to the wind. Pick the WR or two who you think has the most upside. From that list, I'd say the two with the most potential are Javon Walker and Deion Branch. I think the difference between those two WRs and the rest of the Tier 3 is significant, yet the difference between JW and DB and Tier 2 (or even 1) status is not as significant. I'm also worried about BOTH Arizona WRs achieving elite status. Most likely, one will slightly edge out the other one. But that could be the difference between 1200yds/12TDs and 800yds/8TDs. But of the two, you have to like Fitzy better.

k9tofive 0 Posted August 11, 2006 I am going out on a limb with my sleeper that will move to Tier 1: Javon Walker. It takes two years to come back from the surgery he has had. 2006 is year one. . .
gobrownies6 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Andre Johnson is Tier 2 talent wise but production wise he is Tier 3 at the highest. Too inconsistent. I also think Randy has slipped to Tier 2. Pretty good list otherwise though.
