Electric Uncle Sam 0 Posted August 10, 2006 Basic Scoring plus .5 per reception. 12 teams We keep 3 keepers per year @ the cost of the draft round. This year I kept Tiki (1), LT (2) & Gates (9) So I dont have a 1st, 2nd or 9th round picks. Deal #1 I have been offered: #1 overall pick (C. Johnson or Torry Holt) & the 17th overall pick for Tiki (1) & my 5th round pick (9th pick of the round) Deal #2 ~Now another owner is trying to trade for the #1 pick as well & if he gets it he offered me #1 overall pick & the 16th overall pick for Tiki & my 6th round pick Obviously a better deal, the catch is if I made that trade that would give this guy Tiki & LJ as his starting RBs. Deal #3 ~Now I have also been offered from another guy Boldin (4) & the 8th overall pick (likey to be Dunn or Parker) for Tiki & my 10th round pick. Should I make one of these moves? Should I just stand pat? I am so confused!!
manola 0 Posted August 10, 2006 I'd stick with what you got. With LT, Tiki and Gates, you should be a beast all season long. If those guys stay healthy, you can ride them right through the playoffs. weas98 0 Posted August 10, 2006 I agree...Keep what you have. You have a solid running back core...I'm sure you can find some solid WR's in the draft
Ron_Mexico 0 Posted August 10, 2006 Let me help you with your confusion. Don't even consider any of these trades.... no more
Electric Uncle Sam 0 Posted August 10, 2006 Ok, but why exactly. The deal I was liking the best was the Tiki & a 10 for Bolidin & #8 overall (FWP or Dunn) Is Tiki worth more than Boldin & Parker? Deal #2 the guy dropped my 6th down to a 7th if I made his deal...still not good enough for me.
WhiteWonder 2,734 Posted August 10, 2006 keep what you have and look for a TJ housh type WR in the 3rd round
Electric Uncle Sam 0 Posted August 11, 2006 The newest offer is now this... I get the 1st & 7th overall picks for Tiki & my 4th round pick? Does this change things at all.........
Electric Uncle Sam 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Breaking it down I could get either Torry Holt, CJ or Reggie Bush with the #1 & with the #7 I could get FWP, Addai, Foster, Dillon or Dunn if I go WR with #1, if I were to take Bush w/ #1 I could get R. Moss, H Ward or Chambers with #7 overalll So say Bush & Moss for Tiki & roughly Lee Evans or Holt & FWP for Tiki & Evans.... Would you do this deal & if so would you Holt/CJ #1 or Reggie #1?? enoto 0 Posted August 11, 2006 I would say no, you are giving up a top RB for a glorified RBBC back (and a top wr). however Can you keep any of these players next year? Then Bush and Holt/CJ could be good to build on for the future. But for this year only I would NOT do the trade.
