20 or 25 yards per point for QB? which is standard?

Recommended Posts

Neither, really. I use 1 per 20 yards. 1 per 25 yards is just as prevalent. How many points are you giving for TDs? Are you penalizing for turnovers?

If you're giving 6pt for a TD pass I'd probably go 1 for 25. If you're only giving 3-4pts and/or if you penalize heavily for turnovers , I'd go 1 for 20.

Just realized that my league uses 50 yards per point. With 6 per td and -2 for int's is this too little?

It's extremle TD heavy. You'd have to pass for 300 yards just to get the equivalent of one TD pass. Focus on QBs that throw a lot of TDs, but not a lot of INTs. Brady, Hasslebeck and Delhomme would be good QBs in this scoring system that won't cost you a fortune.
