With Portis injured and TO making a mockery of Dallas

Recommended Posts

TO was back on the field yesterday, just like I said he would be. All is fine in Dallas. Sorry D'ohmer and Ghost and the rest of you asshat philly fans.

Dude, this novel you just wrote was so long and so inconsistent that it's hard to read. The way you explain the Superbowls and how your "unorthodox" math equals 1 more win per year and 1-3 more points per game is  .

There's really nothing you can say beyond 3-0. Brady 3. McNabb 0. I'm not even a Patriot fan but I give respect where respect's due. Sure, what Philly has done in the past 5 years is very good but it's not as good as 3 Superbowls in 5 years is it?

I'll give you the cliff notes. The only way to tell who would be a better QB, 100% for sure is to compare the teams and either swap QB's and project what they would do on each others teams (not very accurate), or isolate the QB from their team to see who or what contributed to a win. Taking margin of victory into account (which was lower for the Pats than Eagles) and accounting for strength of schedule you can conclude that other players impacted the wins, meaning that Brady may or may not have had other people help him win games. Same for McNabb. We need something scientific here so I came up with a formula.

After doing all of the calcuations using this formula

(4N - M)/(3S - B) x (NE + PH) = X/G

we can come up with a clear answer. Since RG > BG the answer is clearly 12.7 and proves my point beyond a reasonable doubt as to who the better QB is. (RG being Reids gut is greater than Bill's gut, which would be BG). Everyone knows that the fatter the coach, the better the QB.

Seriously though, is thinking that other players' performances/teamwork may have contributed to one or two more victories throughout the season that hard to comprehend? NE played some tight games and to win those types of games week in and week out isn't just one player doing it. Hell, we haven't really discussed coaching here. Both are elite coaches, but Belechik is clearly at another level, not because of how good Brady plays, because of how the team plays.

Yeah, I guess those pathetic players and coaches don't care that TO took an extra 2 weeks off and made a mockery of camp.

made a mockery of camp.

You want it really really bad don't ya??? Well just keep saying it over and over again and maybe it will happen. In much the same way you say every year at this time "the eagles are the best team in football". Hopefully the TO thing works out better for ya.

If missing practice because of injury is making a mockery I guess those philly RBs are the kings of creating mockery.

Do you really believe he was hurt to the point where he couldn't practice. This guy wrapped the Dallas Organization around his finger and now he is in charge. It is amazing how the greatest athlete in the history of the game can't figure out how to practice at 70%. Not only did TO say this but he had Jerry Jones saying it to. I love it. As long as Dallas let's TO do what he wants there will not be any problems in big D. I just don't think the Tuna will let it happen.

This tells me right here that you aren't even believing your own weak argument. You're grasping for straws with this hoping to get some small concession. :dunno:

NE played some tight games and won with guys on the team other than Brady......agreed. I'm sure McNabb did as well so how can you even use this argument? That's a wash.

Belichick is clearly at another level than Reid? Why do you say that? According to you the Eagles have a better winning percentage so Reid should be at least equal. Why would you now say Belichick is an obvious step up on Reid? You don't make sense.

And I'm still waiting for you to let me in on where NE's TEAM was better than Philly's TEAM over the timespan that we're talking about.

With the additon of Stallworth this is even truer today than it was a couple of weeks ago.

The Redskins have proven they over-paid for a bunch of teamless stiffs.

TO continues to make a mockery of the team and the coach and is getting fined for missing meetings and "oversleeping"

The Giants still worry me though.

The Giants offense has no chemistry and can't get anything going and their own defense is atrocious, TO has tried to commit suicide (even if he hasn't what a friggin mess!), and the Redskins well, see above.

As of right now, this division is all about the Eagles.

Link? Or are you just opening your calorie port before you have any clue as to what happened?

That's what I thought.

Still think it is a little early to write the Giants off... Deserve it or not they are 1-0 in the division.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Many beleive it's all about the cover up now. I honestly don't think he did, but this whole mess is another bad mark on the team and man was Parcells pretty pissed about the whole situation yesterday. This kind of stuff just isn't good.

As for the Giants being 1-0 in the division, ain't gonna help them much if they can't start gelling on offense and fix that atrocious defense.
