a2united11 0 Posted August 14, 2006 I am in a 10 team keeper league (keep 4 and up to 3 additional 'prospects' - players on your team that were not started last year) and I am looking to acquire LT. I had a strong team on paper last year but underperformance hurt me and I want/need a stud RB to compete. Start 2QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1WR/RB, 1 TE.... 6pts for all TDs, 1pt/30yds passing, 1pt/10yds rushing. 1pt/15yds recieving. Roster: (Prospectables are in green) QB: Leftwich, Brunell, K. Collins, E. Manning RB: McGahee, J. Jones, L. Jordan, D. Rhodes WR: C. Johnson, R. Moss, D. Stallworth, B. Edwards TE: A. Gates Draft picks: 2.01, 2.06, 3.05 Thinking about offering McGahee, Jones, and Moss for LT... Owner I'm trading with has a very poor team with only LT. Am I giving up too much here? As of right now I would probably keep McGahee, Jordan, Jones, and CJ with Eli Manning coming in as a prospect (and maybe contributions from Rhodes). With trade I would have Jordan, LT, CJ, and maybe Gates to go along with manning. Any insight and/or alternatives would be much appreciated.

lguero1 4 Posted August 14, 2006 1st of all, those are your QBs and you did not start Eli last year? impressive. i always give advice to FFers to build the core of their team and build around it. right now your core is: jordan chad gates moss, mcgahee, or jjones (this represents the same indecision you should have about your 4th keeper) your core would be: LT jordan chad gates SOLID. do it and good luck.
