DrewzerNC 0 Posted August 19, 2006 Just wondering? I came across the board two years ago. Dont post a lot, but love reading. Probably some of the best insights regarding foosball on the web. And you're guaranteed a laugh just about every time you log on. The thing is, I haven't told ANYONE else about it. I feel it genuinely gives me a leg up on the competition. Have you let the secret out?
waterwolves 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I have not told anybody. I reveal to much about how I am playing or who I am targeting. On top of that it does give me a leg up.

deejsixer 0 Posted August 19, 2006 Hell no! I have not told a soul. I always want to because I always come across something that makes me laugh my ass off, but so far I have kept it a secret for a few years.

Ras66not99 0 Posted August 19, 2006 Well boys I gotta admit I've told two of my friends in my league about FFToday and the message boards... I told them about it because I thought they'd enjoy it as much as I do.... Maybe I regret it a little, but it's all good... My main (only league I care about) league is a Dynasty League and my one friend uses the New York Yankees method (trade draft picks and youth for veterans that are already producing) so he never has any draft picks to snake me if i talk about young players I want or that people write about.... unless he decides to move back into the first 2 rounds of my draft by trading back in on draft day Hmm that would suck eh ? ZombieEater 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I don't tell anybody simply because I'd rather nobody knows that I'm a big enough nerd to spend my time on a fantasy football website.
Peens 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I let all my league mates know about FFToday. I just dont tell them about Footballguys.
schentai 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I run a league that took on 3 new owners last season, new to the league as well as FF (expansion). In their "welcome package" I suggested each of them check out FFToday. Between the resourses on the site and info you can get on the forums this site is an awesome all purpose FF tool (as you all well know). I wanted each of them to be able to be competetive and IMO, based on their performances I'm sure it helped. However, I would never let one of my "seasoned veteran" league-mates know this place ever existed.
Casey71 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I've been in the FFToday closet for 5 years now. I'm not coming out yet.
bjlmonster 0 Posted August 19, 2006 NO, but two of my league mates showed up to the draft with cheatsheets printed out from fftoday. They said "this is the only free site we could find." Not too worried though, as I don't think they have found the message boreds yet.
Jdchris81 1 Posted August 19, 2006 The best thing is to show up to the draft and have up todate cheat sheets and everyone else is looking at mags from months ago. I have tried to let one of my good friends from my big $ league in fftoday but I dont think he ever checked it out. I have always loved this site, the crash at the end of last season really killed me and mad me very mad, but as you can tell I'm still around and still read the boards almost every day. Zackattack 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I play to win and for money. Why would I let them know? My league name is different than my login name here too. I am totally incognito. One of them would have stole Willie parker if they went to this site.

FantasyChick 0 Posted August 19, 2006 Can size? I'm shocked no one has asked Figured that was cuming sooner or later! Last year there was this one thread that got way out of hand and was eventually locked but it was fun. I think there was like 3 of us women who participated in the banter. It was a good time. Needless to say, no one really worked that day...........That is before it got locked.

You avoided the question, but that's cool. I asked for general principle more than a sincer desire to know. You know the routine. Haverchuck 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I have been using this website for a while but rarely post. This site gives an advantage unlike any other. I do wonder sometimes if there are other owners in my league that use this site just as I do but we are all afraid to talk about. Last year I used the draft buddy last year at the draft and nobody said anything about it, but then again I didn't let anyone look at my laptop screen. I will continue to keep this site a secret. FantasyChick 0 Posted August 19, 2006 This has actually been a very informative post. I am not sure how many in my leagues know about this site either. I wonder how I even stumbled upon it about about 5 years ago now. I logged on as a guest for the first two years and then became a member the following year. The information found here is some of the best. I was beside myself when the site went down at the end of last season. It meant I actually had to work again. My job performance definitely suffers during(fantasy) football season.

phillyjinx 21 Posted August 19, 2006 Ive told a few, but dont think anyone has visited. Another good sight for auction leagues is fantasyauctioneer.com, if you dont know about it already. They have live auction mock drafts. They also have a league that you can join for only $10, its different than most. Its called Beat the Expert. They have a supposed expert in the league and if he doesnt get into the playoffs everyone gets a T-shirt and I believe a free register for next year. All you have to do is draft your team and the best performers of each week get slotted into the starters automaticlly. So there is no managing involved. Just another league to join plus it is good practice. Winner only get's $50 in a 12 teamer. Im mainly just doing it for fun. Check it out for more info. ringotomb 0 Posted August 20, 2006 ISNT THIS THE FIRST OR SECOND SITE THAT COMES UP WHEN U GOOGLE FF
stlku 0 Posted August 20, 2006 fftoday is the first link on google behind the sponsored adds, second page on msn. This site is great and I would never tell anyone about this place or any of the other five or so sites I use, they have to find it themselves. One year I had a draft where a buddy of mine was sitting beside me the year before with some magazines while I had the cheatsheets. Then all of the sudden that year he had the cheatsheets I must have still had the name of the site on the top. I was ticked off and all he did was just smile when I he saw that I noticed his cheatsheets.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted August 20, 2006 ISNT THIS THE FIRST OR SECOND SITE THAT COMES UP WHEN U GOOGLE FF Yep, not a big secret. It still comes down to strategy before, during, and after the draft and on a week by week basis of adding and dropping players. I've found most people do hardly any research. They wouldn't take the time to google or anything.
Duffman 0 Posted August 20, 2006 I've let some guys know about it. They say its' "ok". Meaning, I didn't have time to check it out and I like my other suck ass website. All I say is, their loss. This place rocks.
