paulinstl 295 Posted August 22, 2006 Very surprised to get Chad Johnson 8 picks deep. I guess the question marks with Palmer have devalued Chad quite a bit. I actually considered offering Galt a trade for his rights before the draft. A little early for Addai, but this was as much a "keeper" pick as anything. Jackal 4 Posted August 22, 2006 I'm surprised Bush fell as far as he did. I was ready to take him but it dawned on me that he won the Heisman Trophy........nuff said. Chambers was NOT who I wanted, especially with CPep's 6 million dollar knee, but he was the best available and I knew that if I waited too long i'd probably be looking at Drew Bennett as my #1 WR. Actually pleased with Driver. Think Favre has something to prove before he retires, plus GB will be playing from behind most of the time!

KC Deuce 1 Posted August 22, 2006 Agree on JOhnson, was actually hoping he would fall farther when i saw where the was, also surprised by Steve Smith dropping some... I acutally couldn't believe that I had a decision between Steve Smith and CJ at this pick, and was very pleased to have it. After last year, it was hard to pass on Smith, however CJ is so damn consistent and I look for him to have a big year this year. Thought about RB there, but I felt it was take one of those WR and target Tatum Bell on the way back. Wish that had worked out better for me.
gratefulted 14 Posted August 22, 2006 Thanks to Jackel for taking my list I didn't really need Bush but for keeperreasons I couldn't pass him by. Hopefully DJax will continue to do well as he did late last year after coming back from his injury. ETA - I gave Jackal my cell # if it gets back to me, I'll be in a casino and hopefully I'll hear it. I kinda doubt it gets to me though.
paulinstl 295 Posted August 22, 2006 Jackal, same drill as yesterday. I'll be gone until tonight. I'll leave my cell number with Orgazmo, and you ought to still have it. Have list, will draft. Call me. Thanks!

paulinstl 295 Posted August 24, 2006 With suck crapass keepers I had, I really needed to lock up that Indy backfield. I know Rhodes was way, way too early, but in the past someone, whom will remain nameless, always grabs my backup RB before I get another chance. I didn't want it to happen again this year. Jackal 4 Posted August 28, 2006 06.04 Greg Jones, RB, JAX Sippah Cups <Jackal> "JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jaguars running back Greg Jones will miss the season after tearing a ligament in his left knee. Jones, the team's starting fullback and Fred Taylor's primary backup, injured his knee Saturday against Tampa Bay. Coach Jack Del Rio initially said it was a sprained medial collateral ligament, but tests revealed a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He will have surgery after the swelling subsides.
