TheDudeMrB 0 Posted August 23, 2006 Hello, I am in a 10 team keeper league. Players may be kept for a maximum of 3 years. Owners may keep up to 3 players; 1 player per position. We start 2 RB and 3 WR. From last season I am keeping: Rudi Johnson Marvin Harrison I have the 8th overall pick in the draft. Obviously all of the elite players are being kept. I will probably be able to draft one of the following with this pick: W McGahee H Ward C Chambers D Jackson D Driver W Dunn I am tempted to draft Reggie Bush with my very first pick. I like his keeper value and may have some impact this year. If I do not take him with this pick, my next opportunity will basically be with the 20th overall pick. I think he will be gone by that point. All advice and guidance is appreciated. Thanks! PS - Scoring System for RB & WR = TD - 4pts (bonus points added based on yardage of TD as well) Receiving and Rushing Yards - .1pt per yard (10 yards = 1 point)

If you want a RB - take McGahee.. but I think the BPA will be Chambers.
Ray_T 753 Posted August 23, 2006 well, I was faced with a similar choice in my keeper draft (3 keepers)except that you can keep the keepers indefinitely if you choose. I picked bush and got a little lucky and was able to take Julius Jones with my second round pick. This left my top 3 RB's as LT, Bush, JJ. As bush is a rookie and JJ has a tendency to get hurt, I later picked up Barlow (off waivers) to be my #4 RB. I'm happy with my choice... and a lot of guys have tried to acquire Bush Via Trade. even if you dont like Bush, if there's lots of guys in your league who are keen on him, I'd pick him anyhow. TheDudeMrB 0 Posted August 24, 2006 That is good advice. Thanks guys! I am currently trying to trade up some draft picks to improve my first round pick. This will give me a better chance to grab Bush. Also, I recently learned that McGahee has been kept - Westbrook will now be available. Thanks TheDudeMrB
