ayemac 2 Posted August 26, 2006 Just purchased for first time and have a few Qs. 1st Question: QB Passing TD Distance Scoring * If ALL TDs are worth 6pts, do I need to populate this section with 6s all the way down (i.e., 0-19 yds, 19 - 20 yds, etc.)? My assumption is that the answer to this question will apply to "Rushing TD Distance" and "...Receiving TD Distance." 2nd Question: League Profile Name In the Setup tab, I selected League 3 (flex). I changed the name of the league under League Profile Name to my league's name and then set all options and saved. However, if I select, say, League 1 and the drop the arrow down and go back to League 3 (flex), all of the personalized data I input is gone. Thoughts? ***Nix this question. I just saw the (big, flashing dummy) button that reads, "Save League Profile." 3rd Question: Tiering What exactly is this and how does it impact the compiler or cheatsheet? 4th Question: Flex The only flex position we have is the WR/TE option. I've included those two positions in the flex and then combined the two. Historically, only three to four TEs get drafted in this league with the flex. In the Overall Rankings/Custom Baselines section, should I manually change the TE Total Startes to something like 3 or 4, or simply leave it 0 which is what it currently is based on formulas. That's all for now. That should keep whoever answers this busy, unless these are oft-answered questions. I appreciate your time and am pumped about using the CC and DB! zhinz 0 Posted August 26, 2006 1. You can just make the Passing TD 6, and then have all the yardages be 0. The yardage is for if you get a bonus on TDs more than a certain length. 3. Tiering is the red lines that seperate players on the individual cheatsheets. What it's saying is that all those RBs (or WRs or QBs or whatever) are basically projected for the same amount. You can use this to see where the best value is. For example, let's say you're picking 8th in a 10-team league, and there are 2 RBs left in the highest tier, and 5 WRs left in the highest tier. It's better to take a RB, because odds are that a WR in the highest tier will still be available in your next pick. 4. You don't have to do that as an offensive flex. Just check the "Combine WR and TE" button. That will list TEs as WR in the projections. I'm surprised that your number list a baseline of 0 TEs. It makes me think that something was entered wrong. How many points is Antonio Gates projected for in your scoring system, and what rank would he be among WRs?
ayemac 2 Posted August 26, 2006 1. Thanks. 2. Duh. Makes much more sense now. Not sure why I didn't see that the first time. Thanks. 3. Actually, the "Baseline Adjust Factor*" lists the TE at 1. I was referring the to cell four up from there - "Total Starters" for TEs. That's listed at 0. It seems from your comment that I can simply leave it and not mess with it. Gates is projected at #58 with 176.9 pts.
