Those who have drafted 5th

For those who have drafted 5th what have your first 5 picks been? I can't decide if I want to go RB RB WR or RB WR RB.

It really depends on how everyone drafts I've seen some guys come out quite ok in the 5th posistion by obtaining R.Brown, Caddy, and then Wayne but it all depends on how your league drafts. Good luck

I am leaning twords Ronnie Brown but might take SJack. I am pretty sure I am going to go with another RB right away but like you said will have to wait and see whats there.

I had the 5th and went s jax (I think he is a little more proven than brown and as the same upside potential), holt, j lewis, d jax, ahman green. I took Deangelo in the 9th but to each his own as a prior deuce, fraud and jamal anderson owner I like to be deep at RB because of injuries. I think WR are not as injury prone and not as consistent outside of the top 6 to 10.

1st Draft:

 

1.5 - Tiki Barber(RB)

2.6 - Willie Parker(RB)

3.5 - Torry Holt(WR)

4.6 - Warrick Dunn(RB)

5.5 - Roy Williams(WR)

 

 

2nd Draft:

 

1.5 - St. Jackson(RB)

2.6 - B. Westbrook(RB)

3.5 - W. Parker(RB)

4.6 - D. Driver(WR)

5.5 - TJ Housh(WR)

IMO I dont think you should go into the draft saying I am going RB-RB-WR or RB-WR-RB or what ever. At 5 I would take a RB. You have to see how things play out. If you say I am going RB-RB and your #1 WR or #2 WR slips are you going to pass him up? If you say RB-WR and there is a run on WR and there is a great RB sitting there you are going to pass him up? You just gotta go with the flow.
