ok - He wants to know what i want for Mcnabb or Bouldin -- help me propose something!

 

We start 2 RBs and 3 WRs 10 team performace league

 

his team!

qb - green, mcnair

rb - tomlinson, mcghee, t jones, j lewis,

wr - R moss, coles, paxico, keshawn,

 

My team

Mcnabb, Vick

RB - Ronnie Brown, kevin jones, frank gore, addai, maroney

wr - Holt, bouldin, clayton, lloyd, givens

 

if i give up what he asked abouot (either, mcnabb, bouldin or both) what trade would you propose?

Looking at this, I would think you would want to stay put. The problem here is that neither of you has sufficient depth to make a good deal. You would like to trade from a position of depth which for you is RB and not QB or WR. His team doesn't have much depth at QB or WR and he has good depth at RB. I think you may want to look for a trade partner who lacks depth at the RB position and try to upgrade at the WR or QB position.

I'd have to say stay put. You've got the better team in my oppinon and the only spot you could improve with his team is LT2 and he wont do that.

I like your team as is. He'd have to overpay for Boldin if I were you. I think Boldin has a better year than Moss, so I'd have to see something like the following to consider that deal...

The upgrade from Clayton to Plax isn't enough of an increase of putting up with the headache that is Michael Vick's inconsistency as your starter every week.

 

I still think you need to make him overpay. In almost every 2 for 1 deal the person on the 1 side is getting the better overall player, so you really need to see a reason to do it from your point of view if you're getting the 2 players. Do you really need McNair in the grand scheme of things vs. a waiver QB? So in essence the two solid players involved are McNabb and Plax.

Oh I agree, but if this guy wants McNabb from me and I'm the owner I don't just give him away for a slight upgrade. When I trade with someone it's because I see a really solid potential for my team to be upgraded. In this case his receivers are fine as is with both Holt and Boldin. Plax would be icing, but at the risk of an inconsistent QB? Not enough to me. He'd have to make me feel stupid if I didn't take it, ala the deal I suggested where Moss was the receiver in question. Moss would make me ok with Vick as my starter.

Great deal. Think of what almost happened:

 

QB: Vick

WR: Holt, Boldin, Plax, Clayton

 

Instead you have...

 

QB: Vick

WR: Holt, Moss, Boldin

 

Solid, solid upgrade. Vick is inconsistent, as I mentioned (and I own him too), but adding Moss is what put this deal over the top. He'll help make up for Vick's inconsistent weeks. Imagine the week that all 4 of these guys are on
