nineninetythree 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Hi, My Team is keeping one player each and my keeper is Shaun Alexander. For winning the league last year, my prize is to pick at 1.10 and 2.1! HA HA! Some of the keepers are not top 10 guys. One guy is keeping Gates, one is keeping P Manning, one M Harrison, etc... We have 1 QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1D, 1 FLEX. I am projecting the likes of McGahee, K Jones, C Taylor to be available when I pick. Should I take 2 of those and lose out on the Tier 1 WRs, or should I take 1 RB and 1 WR? Some available WRs project to be Chambers, Wayne, R Williams. They may be gone by R3. The age old question, right? At Round 3 we go to a random picking system, so I could get an early or late pick in R3. By R4 most of the good RBs should be gone, while I think serviceable WRs will be left, but I have to be able to field 3 WRs... My league seems to be WR happy every year. Last year we didn't do a keeper. I was 1.3 and 2.8 and got Alexander because 1.2 took Manning. I got R Johnson at 2.8 and I don't want to admit I took A Johnson with my homer pick in the 3rd Round. I managed with Driver at WR and got lucky in the playoffs. The last 2 years I have left the QBs until everyone has picked theirs, trying to rack up extra WRs in the middle rounds. I should mention we get 7 for 0-10 yd TDs, 10 for 10-30 yd tds, and 14 for big TDs, so there is some reason to believe that WRs deserve high picks based on their long TD chances being better. We also get yardage points 5 for 75-99, 7 for 100-149, 10 for 150 - 199 etc... Thanks for any input!
