CBS sportsline no emails?

I am not getting emails from the site as commish I used to get emails regarding add/drop requests and to approve trade I have all the setting as they where last year. I emailed them but when it said a email was sent with the question # I did not get that either.

Anyone else having problem not getting emails from the site?

Have you checked to make sure your options are still set to receive those updates via email? I had it setup last year where I would get emails for add/drops, trades, etc. but this year it reset and those boxes were unchecked.

I'm having problems getting the stuff that is posted to the message board. In the past 3 seasons I have gotten them right as they were posted, but now I'm getting them about 2 days later. I have been using the same email addy and everything.

 

Something must be screwy with their system.

Just checked and all the boxes r checked

I even tried to get a sample report sent to me from them and that did not work either.

If your e-mail address is a work account, your work probably blocked the e-mail. The company I work for blocks all sportsline e-mail incomming. They actually blocked the website 2 years ago, but there were some high level executives that used it for their leagus, so it was unblocked after a day!

 

So, change your e-mail to something else and give it a test.

You may have your email options checked to receive them but do you have the box on the top right that says "Send notifications" clicked to "yes"??? It would be an easy mistake.

I had someone in my league not getting emails, he had msn hotmail. He set up a yahoo email and got them no problem. So just try a yahoo email that may work.

Try your junk/spam folder. The emails generally come from your address to your address, something which triggers the junk/spam filter.

 

Give it a look, i'm betting that's it.

That sucks man. Sorry. I don't really like thoes e-mails anyway. I pretty much live online, so it is just redundant info for me. But I hope you get it figured out.
