nhdave 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Ughhhh -- I should never have drafted Hines Ward. I'm stuck now - Ward is hurting, Big Ben's appendix filled up with broken glass he ate when he went through that windshield, and Batch has never thrown a TD pass to him. Should I pick Jurevicius off waivers and start him instead???? (will answer yours)
himmystyles 30 Posted September 6, 2006 I would still go with Ward... CBS says Cowher may upgrade him for this game.. i think he will still get his touches, maybe even more so that Batch is playing bc he may force it to Hines (just a thought). In any event, I think you should go with Ward. Thanks for answering mine.

Fremont Flyers 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Dont drop Ward, but if you could drop that 2nd tight end(or some other non-player) and pick up Jurevicious then go for it.
dalie 2 Posted September 6, 2006 Go for Hines Ward, he is still the main man in Pitt....even with Batch http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228755

Ray_T 753 Posted September 6, 2006 hines Ward is the man. Also, he is an excellent route runner. Inexperienced QB's tend to do better with this kind of receiver. it's guys who have tons of speed who tend to have trouble with a change of QB because timing becomes that much more important. Unfortunately, these things will take time. I expect Pitt will run the ball a lot.... and Ward will be the primary receiver on almost every pass play. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228769
