Caddy ....was he injured?

Recommended Posts

In the post-game press conference Gruden made mention of back spasms, but they were looking into it. Probably nothing given that he brushed over it quickly and the reporters didn't seem to pounce on it.

By the end of the season, his back will be completely torn up after carrying the entire offense all year long.....

.....if he even gets the carries, Simms sucks and getting down by 14 in the first every week won't exactly lead to 20+ carries for Caddy.

Just heard on NFL network he had issues with his back. I didnt watch the game. Any info would be helpful........thanks

I saw it, he did have huge issues with his back. He had Ravens defenders hanging all over him.

They lost their starting guards, they didn't have a chance. the Ravens controlled the middle of the field.

The Ravens smothered the Bucs today.

I wouldn't have taken Caddy in any league because of the preseason lesson: Pittman on 3rd, Alstott at the GL - smelled trouble and avoided him.

But he'll be fine in the long run...against weaker defenses, he'll be money. Simms looked lost though and that should scare you more than any back spasms.

Yep. Simms looked fairly sharp early, but his receivers dropped several passes in the first quarter (notably Galloway dropped a hitch that hit him in the numbers), and then Simms started to press and make a lot of bad decisions. Also, one pick was on a pass batted at the line, something Simms has a consistent problem with. With injury problems on the OL already, Tampa has serious protection problems.

He also is no FRANK GORE

He doesn't have the power, receiving ability or moves that FRANK GORE has.
