Who to pick up?

Recommended Posts

After a trade that goes through before the games tomorrow, my TE position will be just 1 deep. I wouldn't normally hesitate to just grab a backup, but I see more potential on the wire at the WR position. My starting TE doesn't have his bye until week 7, so should I pick up one of the WRs and then dump whichever is worst performing then, or be safe and grab the backup TE now?

Just so it's clear I DON'T have to drop anyone. I'll have one open spot on my roster.

Guys on the wire:

WR - K. Robinson, C. Jackson, D. Gabriel, Tr. Brown

TE - B. Troupe, J. Stevens (injured), I. Mili, De. Clark, T. Scheffler

My current team (post trade):

QB - M. Bulger, M. Vick

RB - L. Johnson, F. Gore, L. Maroney, W. Lundy, J. Norwood

WR - T. Holt, S. Smith, Ro. Smith, T. Williamson

TE - M. Colston

I'd grab Troupe and drop Norwood. Colston isn't actually a TE - he's a WR and if/when your league makes that change, you have a big problem. Norwood isnt a factor unless Dunn gets hurt. Troupe is a good play once they get their QB situation taken care of.

I agree with the troupe call, i picked up colston as a back up TE and my league just made the change and i have to decide who to keep on as backup WR. Go with Troupe

I would not do anything now. Keep Norwood..his value will only increase as season goes on .. ATL runs the ball often and fatique will kick in for Dunn some time. I have Dunn on my roster and wish I had Norwood

Thanks for replying mine.
