Ray_T 786 Posted September 26, 2006 I'm thinking about Trading Reggie Bush. our league keeps 3, and with Ronnie Brown and LT and McNabb, I think Bush is expendable. This deal can potentially put me over the top (if he elects to take my offer). The deal: Reggie Bush and Isaac Bruce For Kevin Jones and Marc Bulger. it seems lopsided a bit, but this guy is totally high on Bush and wants him for the future (his team sucks and is rebuilding) as an update, I recently Picked up Braylen Edwards and Berrian, so I can afford to dump Bruce. If he askes for Edwards or Berrian I think I'd throw one of them in, but this makes me stronger in every area. any opinions? Talk me into or out of this deal if you can
iforgotmypassword 0 Posted September 27, 2006 thanks for mine. Question: What do you see in Jones and Bulger? Jones is playing on the periennal 'we're good this year' team, and Bulger is on the ass end of the Martz 'let the QB get pounded' program. Granted Martz is gone, but Bulger can't perform too much longer there. Not well enough to constitute a keeper anyway. I don't see Jones being a force this year, and since you have your keepers set, why bother? If you're not going to keep Bush, trade him for someone who will win you this year. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237898
madd futher mucker 36 Posted September 27, 2006 Absolutely no point to this trade - now or in the future. Stay with Bush - in only a 3 keep league, I'll bet LT, Brown, and Bush will be your keepers.

As this is a league where you need 2 QB's to start, I'd only have Alex Smith and McNabb. McNabb is solid, and Alex Smith may be solid, but because he is a young player, you need a solid backup if you're gonna make him a starter. KJ would also be a #3 guy. We start 2 RB's and he can cover the bye week of Ronnie Brown, and in Martz's offense I think he will be very decent. I dont need another keeper. I already have 3. Ronnie brown, LT2 and Donovan McNabb, so I dont know that keeping Bush adds value to me currently. I could possibly do better, but I guess the question is, what should I be asking for him? ggroovy17 0 Posted September 27, 2006 I don't see why you'd make this trade. You're not improving your team at all. Keep Bush.
