This is my current starting roster:: QB- Donovan Mc`Nabb RB- Ladanian Tomlinson RB-Duece mc`Callister WR-Torry Holt WR-Larry Fitzgerald WR- Lavernues Coles TE- Chris Cooley Kicker- Matt Stover Defence- Eagles D Pretty good for a 12 team league huh?? Travlinron 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I think that you will be fine with the Broncos. They have only allowed 1 touchdown this year and that was in garbage time againxt the Pats!
HIW 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I would definitely do that...drop the SPARE kicker and pick up the BRONCOS DEF! I never have more than ONE kicker on my team!
sorourke 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I think that picking up the Broncos D for a spare kicker is a fair play. If your first string K has already had his bye, even more in its favor. I tend to play matchups on D where I can, so I'd say carry the extra D over the extra K fior the nextr few weeks. Once you clear all the bye weeks, it's more important to have the extra K for injury reasons. Thanks for the reply on mine!
ingsoc747 0 Posted October 7, 2006 that would be a solid move, denver - balt should be a low scoring affair
Nomad99 742 Posted October 7, 2006 I'd do it........My primary I have two kickers on my team now & one has had his bye already so I'm looking to move the other for an IDP fill in..........In your case another d to play vs match-ups is more valuable than a #2k Thanks for mine
OTCM 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Absolutely. Defenses are consistent. Kickers are not. I wouldn't hinge too much of your argument on whether or not a team is playing on national television. That said, Denver's defense has proven itself thus far and is a strong pick to shut down the Baltimore offensive game.
matsfan82 0 Posted October 7, 2006 No doubt.Pickup the Broncos D.
capmeo 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I agree, pickup Broncos D, you can always grab a spare kicker.
Bin Baker 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I have a golden rule never carry more then one kicker on my roster. When its time for my kickers bye week I pick up one on the wavier wire ( in layman terms dont waste a roster spot with a kicker). With that being said. Drop the kicker and pick up Den. ..And and hope that Air McNair doesnt show up and play like hes was 28 again. Odds are against it I think the Phil vs. Dallas game has a very big chance of being a high scoring shoot-out game. Thanks for answering mine.
Wheaties 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Denver defense for sure. Even if you don't use them this week, then the Oakland matchup next week is certainly one to expose. Thanks for the response on mine.
cougars 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Go with the broncos D
Vetman 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Thanks for answering mine. I don't believe in keeping an extra roster spot for a kicker. You are in a 12 team league, you should be able to pick up a serviceable, one game, kicker to cover the bye wee. I would drop the extra kicker and pickup the Bronco's D. I am not convinced that it will be much better for you this week, but it is worth a shot, especially with their matchup next week. Good luck.
bengalsfan85 0 Posted October 8, 2006 Thanx for answering me...as for ur problem, definetly pick up the Broncos D, not only do i think they will do better this week but i think they will be better in the long term as well
lanastussy 0 Posted October 8, 2006 I would definitely pick up the Broncos D for this week and drop the spare kicker. I think that Dalla could score a lot and the Ravens games should be fairly low scoring.
