Who should I drop?

Recommended Posts

One of my teams is 4-0. I have Crumpler on a bye. My bench is Barlow, Jones-Drew, Chester Taylor,

Bryant, Houshmandzadeh. and Pennington. Starting Pennington this week with Vick on a bye. My starting RBs aren't exactly great, this week it's Edge and Maroney. Who should I drop to pick up a TE? I was going to take a 0 and keep everyone until week 7 when the Bears are on a bye to pick up a D, but I'm thinking I should cut someone now. The player I need the least is Bryant, but he's putting up some good numbers. So, the question is, who should I cut to pick up a TE, or should I take the 0 and see how things develop until week 7. BTW, the TEs available include Eric Johnson, Troupe and Cooley, decent one week fillers. Thanks, and leave a link for yours.

With Edge , Moroney Jones-Drew. and Taylor I think Barlow is expendable. As a p/u I like Cooley and then E. Johnson Good luck

I wouldnt cut any of those guys. Its too bad you couldnt have worked a deal and sent barlow off to get at least a mediocre TE as part of the deal. I dont really like the idea of dropping him, but if your that deep I guess it probably wouldnt matter in the long run other than losing out on possible trade value if he keeps up his redzone activity. BTW those TE's are a complete tossup. I'd probably go with Cooley just because his team is playing the best right now.

I've been trying to make a deal all week. I don't want to drop anyone either, but will have to eventually.

i wouldnt cut anyone, TE are usally hit or miss if they dont get you a TD then they usally just give you a few points nothing game changing, with your rb's tho im sure you could make a pretty good trade to benfit you by getting a better player back and opening up some roster spots, id try a trade 1st b/c the rbs you have ppl would be willing to trade for.

oh yea 1 more thing about cooly, he give you a chance for a td but just remeber he has to share the ball with, moss, lloyd, randel el and portis........but its up to you.
