MEGA WR decision, week 7

Recommended Posts

so there was a point earlier in the season when i was pretty weak at the WR spot.

some nice pick ups and a trade or two later and now i've got SEVEN viable options.

maybe it's a great problem to have, but it leaves me scratching my head over who to start this week.

it's a PICK 3 situation here.

here's what i got this week:

ANQUAN BOLDIN @OAK: stud, right? never bench anquan? but what's this i hear about oakland having a not-too-shabby pass defense? also, his numbers have been great. only two games where he failed me... and both happened to be road games. this week is a road game as well.

DARRELL JACKSON vs. MIN: in my league, the dude seems to be putting up 17 points or more except against the bears or detroit in week 1.

GREG JENNINGS @MIA: with or without driver, the dude gets the looks and close to 100 yds, with TDs in 3 out of 5 games this year. if you subtract week 1 vs the bears, this guy is averaging 14ppg.

SANTANA MOSS @IND: horribly, horribly, i say again, horribly inconsistent. the last time i benched this guy he dropped 35pts on jacksonville. outside of that, however, the best he's done was 10pts against tennesee. oh, santana, what will i do with you?

JOEY GALLOWAY vs PHI: ok, he's probably not in the same class as the rest of these dudes, but he seems to be hooking up pretty well with his new qb. lots of targets coming his way. lots of targets means lots of opportunities. playing philly at home isn't too scary either.

LEE EVANS vs. NE: took him a couple weeks to get going, but from week 3 on this guy has caught 7-9 passes per game, consistently putting up over 80 yards. only 1 TD on the season however, and somehow it came against the bears.

REGGIE BROWN @TB: the guy is a TD machine when stallworth isn't on the field. mcnabb likes to throw to him, and he should keep doing so against tampa. i smell another 100yds and a TD this week.

so there you have it. off my list, the only one i can readily strike is galloway. the rest i believe are all worth consideration on a weekly basis.

so what do you guys think i should do this week?

PICK 3!

as always, leave a link, i'll spread the knowlege.

whahaa!

Thanks for mine- I rank:

Boldin

Jennings

Moss/DJax/Brown is such a hard choice... I'd go with either DJax or Brown though... Moss is way too inconsistent at this point for me and I think both of the others will have solid outings

I would go with Bolden, Djax, and Brown.

The Raiders may have a decent pass defense but they will be out on the feild for SO LONG they will tire out. Look at what leinart did to CHI, and the raiders D doesnt even compare.

With no Alexander the Hawks are going to be passing a lot, even though Branch will be playing Djax is going to get the most looks.

McNabb has been on FIRE this year. With him throwing so well i wouldnt sit any starting WR from Philly.

Thanks for mine.

Boldin, D. Jackson and then it's between Jennings and Brown. If Stallworth doesn't play I'd go with Brown for sure but he does play I'd say go with Jennings.

Thanks for answering mine!

If I were you I'd trade off Moss and say Evans to try and get a solid RB or another position you're weaker in.

PICK UP A RB/QB WITH ONE OR TWO YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ADD DEPTH TO YOUR TEAM...

haha thanks for trying, lily, but i was asking about my WRs. obviously i have more players on my team than the ones i've listed. in fact, i even have 3 qbs and 3 RBs!

i am not worried about my team's depth.

thanks anyway!
